Child Safety Standards

Meshup’s standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation, including reporting, enforcement, and escalation.

Version 1.0 · Last updated: 2026-05-05 · Effective date: 2026-05-05

1. Our commitment

Meshup is committed to protecting users and preventing misuse of the Service for child sexual abuse, exploitation, grooming, solicitation, trafficking, sextortion, or the creation, sharing, request, promotion, or distribution of child sexual abuse material.

These Child Safety Standards apply to Meshup’s website, mobile application, and related services. They work together with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, Safety Tips, and Support page.

Zero tolerance

Meshup has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation. We may remove content, restrict features, suspend or ban accounts, preserve relevant information, and report suspected violations to appropriate authorities where required or appropriate.

2. Meshup is intended for adults

Meshup is designed and positioned as an 18+ service. Even though Meshup is intended for adults, we maintain strict child safety standards because social platforms may still receive reports, content, messages, or misuse attempts involving minors.

Users under 18 should not create an account or use the Service unless permitted by applicable law and, where required, with appropriate parent or guardian involvement. App stores, device settings, family settings, or parental controls may affect whether younger users can access or download the app.

3. Zero tolerance for CSAE and CSAM

“CSAE” means child sexual abuse and exploitation. “CSAM” means child sexual abuse material. Meshup prohibits any content, behavior, profile, message, event, group, or activity that involves CSAE, CSAM, grooming, sexualization of minors, exploitation of minors, or attempts to contact minors for sexual or exploitative purposes.

4. Prohibited conduct

  1. Creating, requesting, uploading, sharing, promoting, selling, or distributing CSAM.
  2. Sexualizing minors or creating content that depicts, suggests, or encourages sexual exploitation of minors.
  3. Grooming, coercing, manipulating, threatening, or blackmailing minors.
  4. Soliciting sexual content, images, videos, meetings, or contact details from minors.
  5. Using Meshup to arrange, facilitate, or promote exploitation, trafficking, or abuse of minors.
  6. Sharing links, usernames, groups, coded language, or instructions that enable child exploitation.
  7. Attempting to evade detection, moderation, reporting, account restrictions, or bans related to child safety.

5. Reporting child safety concerns

If you see content or behavior on Meshup that may involve child sexual abuse, exploitation, grooming, solicitation, or endangerment of a minor, report it immediately using in-app reporting tools where available.

You can also contact our child safety point of contact directly at support@meshup.social. Please include relevant details such as usernames, links, screenshots, approximate dates, and a short description of the concern, unless sharing those materials would be unsafe or unlawful.

6. How we respond

  1. We review reports and may prioritize urgent child safety concerns.
  2. We may remove or restrict content that appears to violate these standards.
  3. We may suspend, ban, or restrict accounts involved in suspected CSAE or CSAM.
  4. We may preserve relevant information where needed for safety, legal, enforcement, or reporting purposes.
  5. We may report suspected CSAE or CSAM to appropriate authorities where required or appropriate.

7. Cooperation with authorities

Meshup may cooperate with law enforcement, regulators, child protection organizations, app stores, and other appropriate authorities in relation to suspected child sexual abuse, exploitation, CSAM, grooming, trafficking, or other serious safety concerns.

If there is an immediate danger or emergency, contact local emergency services first. Meshup’s reporting tools and support email are not a substitute for emergency response.

8. Prevention and moderation

Meshup uses a combination of product design, user reporting, blocking, moderation, account restrictions, community rules, and safety policies to help prevent misuse. We may update our tools and processes over time as the Service grows and as safety risks evolve.

We do not promise that every violation will be detected immediately. Users are encouraged to report suspicious, exploitative, or unsafe behavior as soon as they encounter it.
