Why I built Meshup
“Making real friends took two years. Every single time.”
Twenty years. Four cities. Four countries—Singapore, Zürich, New York, and Cologne.
Every time I moved, work settled in within months. But finding real friends—people to run with, grab a drink with, or simply do life with—took two years.
Then I realized it was not just me. Expats, locals, people new in town, and even people who had lived somewhere for years were still missing their group.
Meshup exists to turn shared interests into real plans, so meeting people can feel natural again.
