Community Guidelines

Last updated: 2026-03-15

Meshup is built for real, respectful connections through shared interests — communities, events, and meetups. These guidelines explain what’s allowed and what’s not. If you violate them, we may remove content, restrict features, or suspend your account.

Not a dating app

Meshup is not a dating app. Please don’t use Meshup to solicit romantic/sexual relationships, send unwanted flirtatious messages, or post “looking for girlfriend/boyfriend” content. That kind of content may be removed and repeat behavior may lead to account restrictions.

Be respectful

Keep it safe

Meetups and events

Meetup safety tips
  • Meet in public places first (coffee shop, park, busy venues).
  • Tell a friend where you’re going and when you’ll be back.
  • Don’t share sensitive info (home address, IDs, banking details).
  • Trust your gut — leave if you feel uncomfortable.
  • In an emergency, contact local emergency services.

Content standards

Reporting, blocking, and enforcement

If you see something that violates these rules, please report it in-app (where available) or email support@meshup.social. If someone is bothering you, block them and stop engaging.

Working with app store safety standards

Meshup supports user-generated content and real-life meetups. We’re committed to keeping the platform safe through clear rules, reporting channels, and enforcement. If you have questions about these guidelines, contact us at support@meshup.social.
